Christine Boyer moved to Vancouver Island in 2011 from Toronto, Ontario after visiting the Island on a family vacation. Trained as a scene painter for theatre, her work is large scale. Christine draws on her Scandinavian roots and the beauty of the outdoors for inspiration in her abstract acrylic paintings. She operates Kyst Hus Studio in Royston where she lives with her husband and young family.
