Sharon is an established scratchboard artist, specializing in birds, wildlife and pet commissions. Detail and accuracy in her work has always been her goal and scratchboard is the perfect medium for creating photo-realistic paintings.

In 2016 Sharon earned her Signature status with the International Society of Scratchboard Artists. In 2019 her painting, “Fishing on Stilts” won the International Artist Award in Berea, Kentucky. 2023 saw her earning her Senior Membership with the Federation of Canadian Artists.

Sharon was thrilled to have been invited to display 16 pieces of her work at the Butchart Gardens in Victoria for the 2024 season.
