I’ve always loved to draw, one of my earliest memories is one Christmas morning, opening up a present to find a Crayola Caddy (best present ever!!) Always detail orientated, there was never a crayon out of place 😉
Fast forward a little and I graduated university with a Graphic Design degree. In the days of my design teachings, work was created by hand rather than the digital world we are in now. I fully appreciate the digital world but getting back to putting pen to paper has been very satisfying.
After a lot of experimenting, I am primarily a pen and watercolour artist with a focus on enchanting West Coast themes. I live in the beautiful Comox Valley, where every walk in the forest and time spent at the beach offers endless inspiration! I find joy in the small details, the unexpected patterns and the ever changing light.
My artistic voice is developing organically with every drawing and painting I complete and learn from. My aim is to create work that I enjoy, that is stand-out, unique and resonate with all who appreciate flora and fauna as well as the occasional whisper of whimsy!
