Tin Cup Art

Map #17
Imagine… three layers of ceramic paste, followed by metallic paste and piping all around each leaf, all hand-stroked onto glass. Then, it’s baked in an oven to set and harden, making it dishwasher and microwave-safe, in addition to being natural and non-toxic. Lori Schiersmann is the only artist in Canada who has been using this technique for over 19 years. She’s also skilled in decorative painting on canvas and wood with acrylics, making her work perfect for filling any niche in your home.

Check out her website: https://tincupart.com for a short video demonstrating how she applies her three layers of paste.

In her studio/gift shop, she also has a variety of paintings in oils, watercolors, and acrylics, mostly using the “decorative” technique but also on wood.
