Summer Scott is a Canadian artist whose practice utilizes drawing, painting, and collage. Her richly coloured drawings and painting are made using a variety of water media and cut paper elements. Summer’s vivid and playful work is inspired by the cyclical movements of nature and explores the intersection between Fine and Decorative arts through stories of myth and imagination. Summer aims to express an atmospheric dreamscape through a unique visual language that often includes graphic elements layered through highly symbolic natural spaces. Summer is a graduate of NSCAD University in Halifax Nova Scotia and resides on the west coast of Canada.
