Ameet, grew up surrounded with a vibrant and lively atmosphere full of books, conversations, ideas, cultural and global exchanges. Ameet has been actively engaged in teaching a wide variety of subjects, including art and publishing and graphics at various institutions in China and Canada. In addition, Ameet continues to pursue her passion in art and has exhibited her artwork in galleries in Shanghai and Mexico. Also she has illustrated and published a very unique book in stream of consciousness manner, translating her ethnic language Punjabi and into the making of “Gallan”.

Interdisciplinary artist Trish Malcomess will be exhibiting her work alongside Ameet Gill at 4 two 5 studio.
Trish reflects contemporary culture through her research based practice and often blurs boundaries between sculpture, ceramics, weaving, photography, painting and life. She studied Fine Arts at East London School of Art, South Africa, and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with honours at Emily Carr University in Canada. As an interdisciplinary artist and conservationist, she has been exhibiting and publishing her work in South Africa and Canada since 1977.
