Maggie Ziegler is a mixed media artist and web & graphic designer, hailing from Alberta. Over 12 years ago, she was drawn to the natural beauty and charm of Vancouver Island and made the move to this paradise. Her art is a reflection of the surroundings that have inspired her and the deep sense of gratitude she feels for the opportunity to express herself creatively.
Maggie has always had a passion for creating art and feels incredibly fortunate to be able to pursue her love for it. She is not limited by subject matter and is often drawn to creatures in nature with fins or feathers. Maggie blends her skills to create paintings that are representational, striving for a sense of realism, with backgrounds that are abstract and unconventional. Her use of bright colors and layers bring her immense joy and happiness.
