As a mixed media artist and web & graphic designer, I have been inspired by the natural beauty of Vancouver Island since I moved here over 13 years ago. My art reflects the surroundings that have captivated me and my deep gratitude for the opportunity to express myself creatively.
Creating art has always been my passion, and I feel incredibly lucky to be able to pursue it. I am not limited by subject matter and am often drawn to creatures in nature with fins or feathers. I combine my skills to create paintings that are representational, striving for a sense of realism, with backgrounds that are abstract and unconventional. The use of bright colors and multiple layers brings me immense joy and happiness.
I approach my work with a curious and optimistic spirit, embracing the unknown outcome of each piece.
