As a local contemporary artist working from my French Creek studio, I am most recognized for my imaginative figurative and floral artwork using a unique painting technique I have been developing over the years. My passion for fabric, pattern and fashion, with a special focus on the 1960s and 1970s, has a large impact on my work. I enjoy celebrating the female form and a lot of my work focuses on the unique comradery which women enjoy. I aim to instil a sense of spontaneity, joy and whimsy in the viewer and momentarily take them on a journey away from every day life. My work has been shown in several Island venues and has sold locally, nationally and internationally.
