Laura Jayne Art Studio

I have moved to Comox Rd where I now truly have inspiration at my fingertips and I’m excited to share with you my passion for drawing, painting and teaching art!

I have love to draw and paint since as far back as I can remember! So after I graduated from Shawnigan Lake School I set out to become an Art Teacher. I subbed and taught for years but I felt a deep longing to go my own way. So that’s what I did! The last two years I’ve been running Paint classes out of my Art Studio in Courtenay, creating drawings, paintings, doing charity functions, kids art camps and its been absolutely amazing and fulfilling on so many levels! We now are moving to Comox Rd and so I’m excited to see what this new chapter brings, I mean talk about inspiration at my fingertips with eagles flying overhead and the ocean and glacier views! I have a very whimsical and playful style with elements of realism and emotional content. My art truly needs to be seen in person especially because I also cover my paintings in epoxy resin which can be extremely hard to photograph and always looks better in person as it reflects and shimmer in the light! So here’s your chance! Hope to see you there! ?????
